A design, in the beginning, can seem easy and simple enough to produce. In your mind, you imagine the design as a finished object, and in that vision, everything works. It already exists. You have an idea of what it will be, and you believe your idea is correct. As you start, you are quickly proven wrong. This can be discouraging. However, when you finish, you realize that the initial idea is still there. It still exists, inseparable from what it has become.
