Encoded within these earrings is a passage from Jeanette Winterson’s Written on the Body, transcribed in Morse code using glass beads.
The earrings separate and reconfigure into a bracelet and a matching set of earrings.
To read the text, begin with the earring marked by three black beads below a band of red, positioned at the top left. Continue left to right and top to bottom using a Morse code chart. Single black beads represent dots, three beads represent dashes, and white beads mark spaces between letters and words.
